AFUL Acoustics has introduced AFUL Explorer hybrid headphones . Thanks to the combination of three drivers – dynamic and two high-performance armature BAs, Explorer headphones offer the best features of the popular AFUL Performer and AFUL MagicOne models.
AFUL Explorer headphones feature several proprietary technologies, including an ultra-thin 3D printed acoustic bass tube with a specially designed resonator. Using Resonator 3D printing technology, frequency separation between drivers is improved, allowing each driver to deliver the desired sound. Two BA armature drivers are tuned to provide high resolution in the mid- and high-frequency ranges.
The delimitation of the operating ranges of the emitters is carried out by a multi-band electronic crossover, the task of which is to provide a wide operating range of the headphones. The RLC crossover is identical to what AFUL previously developed for the Performer model.
The AFUL Explorer headphones also feature an air pressure release system that provides a high degree of damping. This helps the dynamic driver produce dynamic bass and prevent air pressure inside the ear canal from building up, ensuring comfortable use of the headphones for long periods of time.
The Explorer’s design and appearance are admirable. The outer panel is dedicated to space, emphasizing the endless possibilities of the headphones.
The AFUL Explorer Hybrid Headphones come with a standard cable made from high purity copper with silver plated strands, hand woven for perfection. The cable is terminated with high quality gold plated pure copper plugs. The Y-splitter and end caps are manufactured using copper electroplating technology.
The AFUL Explorer Hybrid Headphones have a suggested retail price of $119.99 .
