Audeze Maxwell: New planar headphones for gamers unveiled

A new model of circumaural isodynamic headphones Audeze Maxwell has appeared, addressed to fans of computer games.

The acoustic part of the headphones is built on branded isodynamic drivers with the thinnest Ultra-Thin Uniforce membrane with a diameter of 90 mm and the Fluxor magnetic system . To communicate with other players, a removable hypercardioid microphone manufactured by Shure is designed . The headphones can work both in wired mode with a 3.5 mm or USB-C connection, and wirelessly via Wi-Fi using a special dongle or via Bluetooth 5.3 .

In this case, users can take advantage of the benefits of Bluetooth LE Audio , such as minimal latency and support for data rates up to 1 Mbps. Support for the LDAC codec is also announced . Autonomous time in wireless mode is an impressive 80 hours . Headphones weigh 490 grams .

There are two versions of Audeze Maxwell – one is for use with PC and PS5, the second is for PC and Xbox, and the second supports Dolby Atmos. The price of the first option is $300 , the second is $350 .
