The SoundBuds2 are a new version of the true wireless headphones from the British audio company Cyrus.
And now, Cyrus Audio claims the Sound Buds 2 have been “significantly improved” with a streamlined and modern design, larger dynamic drivers, improved battery life, and capacitive touch controls for volume, skipping tracks, and taking phone calls. The overall design still says that we are looking at the original SoundBuds.
In addition, the SoundBuds 2 features a shiny graphite finish on the charging case. The earbuds look smarter, and there are four LEDs on the front of the charging case to indicate the charging status of the earphones and the case itself.
The soundBuds2 charging case has a 1-hour fast charge with a USB-C cable. Once charged, soundBuds2 can play for up to five hours, with a further 15 hours of backup in the case.
Each earbud has a built-in microphone that allows you to make phone calls or give commands to voice assistants such as Siri or Google Assistant. There is also support for the AAC audio codec used in Apple iOS and newer Android devices. aptX support is not provided.
The headphone set includes several soft earpieces. The earphones also have an IPX5 waterproof rating, which is of course better for sports and exercise. Weighing just 4.3g, each in-ear earbud comes with three different sizes of silicone eartips.
