The Australian company RØDE presented the RØDE NTH-100 headphones, which provide detailed, clear sound with minimal distortion and passive suppression of ambient noise of 20 dBA.
RØDE NTH-100 are suitable for sound engineers, sound designers, podcasters and streamers. The headphones offer replaceable Alcantara ear cushions and an adjustable, high-strength spring steel headband with a scratch-resistant coating and FitLok locking system. In addition, a detachable cable with a locking connector can be connected to any ear cup for flexibility and convenience.
The manufacturer claims that this model uses specially selected radiators with a diameter of 40 mm, equipped with a special voice coil with a four-layer core of ultra-strong aluminum alloy connected to a three-layer ultra-rigid Mylar diaphragm. They’re also paired with a rare-earth neodymium magnet and an innovative phase cap (inspired by RODE’s award-winning NTG5 microphone ).
The NTH-100 studio headphones are designed to withstand the rigors of every day. Every component, from the high-strength headband to the high-strength ear pads and cable connectors, is designed to last. The cushions and cable are also user replaceable. This modular design ensures maximum durability even with active daily use.
