Teufel Airy Open TWS: Wireless on-ear headphones for athletes

Teufel has introduced the Airy Open Tws, a pair of wireless headphones designed with athletes in mind. These earbuds have an in-ear design, but they don’t go deep into the ear canal. This allows users to stay aware of their surroundings, which is super important for athletes like runners and cyclists who need to be alert in traffic.

Teufel Airy Open Tws

The Airy Open Tws is the first wireless headphone from Berlin-based Teufel where the earbuds leave the ear canal free. This on-ear headphone is therefore very suitable if the wearer needs to be able to perceive ambient sounds. The housing is waterproof according to the IPX4 standard, so sweat and splash water are no problem. The Airy Open Tws offers the best of both worlds: enjoy your music and stay alert to your surroundings.

With soft carrying handles, they stay securely in place, even during sports activities, while clever waveguides send music directly to your ears for the ultimate listening experience.

The drivers have a diameter of 14.2 millimeters. The ear hooks are adjustable. Music signal comes in via Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair is also supported. The manufacturer has placed four microphones for clear calling and there is touch control for adjusting the volume. The user has approximately six hours of music pleasure starting with a full battery and the charging and storage box gives a total of twenty hours of playing time. Charging is done with an ISB-C cable.

The buyer can choose between a black and white version. The Airy Open Tws will be sold for 120 euros.
