The Japanese company Analog Relax has released a new moving coil cartridge called the EX2000 .
It is housed in a specially powder-coated wooden case made from South Tyrol spruce, which has long been used to make some of the finest violins in the world, including works by the famous Stradivarius.
Another notable feature is the use of a solid diamond cantilever, as well as a complex profile SC Stylus Ver.3 stylus . The magnetic system is made of neodymium of different grades.
The sensitivity of the head is 0.4 mV , the internal resistance is 8 ohms , which promises good compatibility with various phono stages and transformers. Analog Relax EX2000 weighs exactly 9 grams.
