Audio Research Reference 80S – Tube Power Amplifier with Arrows

Audio Research has announced the release of the new Reference 80S tube stereo power amplifier based on the KT150 .

The novelty is made according to a push-pull scheme, and in each channel a pair of powerful KT150 lamps are working , providing a solid output power. Drivers are usual for 6H30 products . The amplifier is housed in a solid aluminum chassis, and the GhostMeters signature dial gauges flaunt on the transparent front panel . The rear panel contains unbalanced and balanced inputs, as well as separate terminals for connecting speakers with an impedance of 4-8-16 ohms. The amplifier can operate in both pentode and triode modes, the corresponding switch is located on the front panel. The model is produced at the firm’s own factory in Minnesota.

The Audio Research Reference 80S Stereo Tube Power Amplifier is now available for £ 14,998 .
