Denon launches DNP-2000NE High-resolution audio streamer with HEOS Built-in

The Denon DNP-2000NE HEOS network player is expectedly equipped with proprietary HEOS technology. That is, support for network platforms such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music (with the creation of playlists), Internet radio and others was built into it from the very beginning, as well as the ability to process audio from NAS drives. The same goes for voice control: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Siri are your choice.

The device provides separate power supply for digital and analog parts of the circuit. Four ES9018K2M DACs at once receive a clock signal from a proprietary clock generator, so jitter is suppressed. The DACs operate in dual differential mode, just like the flagship Denon DCD-A110 SACD player. The streamer handles audio resolutions up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD256.

It is clear that this resolution is only available on the asynchronous USB Type B input. Two optical and one coaxial digital inputs are limited by their specifications, but the DNP-2000NE has Advanced Processing technology that creates an intermediate upscaling to maximum resolution, which, according to Denon, makes the sound cleaner. HDMI ARC input allows you to combine the novelty with your TV.

In addition to wired Ethernet, the DNP-2000NE is also equipped with a Wi-Fi module, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2 are supported. In addition to digital coaxial and optical outputs, there is also an analog output, both in a fixed and adjustable version. This allows you to connect the unit directly to active speakers or a power amplifier. The headphone output is also not forgotten – it is placed on the front panel. The Denon DNP-2000NE will be available in Black, Premium Silver and Graphite Silver in three designs and will hit stores in early summer.

In the US, a Denon DNP-2000NE streamer in black or silver will cost $1,600, and graphite silver will cost you a hundred more.
