Meizu is back. The company announced two products: a smartphone and a player. Not much is known about them yet. For example, the Meizu M3 Pro player has a special one-bit Meizu H1 Hi-Fi decoding chip, which promises “unsurpassed quality” of sound. They say that this chip is of a desktop class, that is, such solutions have not yet been available in such mobile devices.
The sound can be output both via Bluetooth and analog “jacks”. There are two of them in the player – a regular 3.5 mm and a balanced one with a diameter of 4.4 mm.
The launch of Meizu M3 Pro is scheduled for next year, the price is still unknown. The site has a stub of 99,999 yuan. But, of course, this is a snag, the real price is unlikely to be higher than the top Astell & Kern.

The company also said that Meizu 20 is undergoing pre-production testing. Apparently, Meizu 19 was canceled or received a new name – it will be released exactly in time for the company’s twentieth anniversary, which will just happen next year.
By the way, the first product was a portable mp3 player, so the M3 Pro has become more of a tribute to the history of the company than a really serious product that can pull Meizu out of a deep crisis.
