PS Audio introduced a new network music streamer AirLens , designed to provide maximum sound quality for streaming audio. AirLens Player offers high-definition streaming via Roon and services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, JRiver and Audirvana, as well as from a NAS server or any DLNA-compatible server on your home computer network.

The PS Audio AirLens streamer connects to the network either wired via Ethernet or wirelessly via Wi-Fi and provides I2S and coaxial digital outputs for connecting to an external DAC. That is, this is a purely digital transport. Typically, noise from any number of sources, including your computer, long Ethernet cables, electromagnetic interference via Wi-Fi, and modems and routers, will contribute to increased jitter and loss of playback quality. Galvanic isolation of PS Audio eliminates sound degradation. At the same time, the digital stream is resynchronized in the output stage to produce pure, jitter-free digital audio.
PS Audio AirLens network transport is capable of working with PCM digital streams with parameters up to 32 bit / 352.8 kHz and DSD up to DSD256 (4x). The compact dimensions of the new product (254 x 38 x 178 mm) and elegant design make it easy to integrate into any audio system. Available in silver and black designs, the PS Audio AirLens network streamer is available in the US for $1,999.
