SMSL has launched the AO200 MKII , an inexpensive stereo power amplifier designed for compact audio systems .
The amplifier can deliver up to 85 watts into 8 ohms and up to 160 watts into 4 ohms. The AO200 is built on the integrated assembly MA5332MS from the German company Infineon , which is characterized by high energy efficiency. The volume control is made on NJW1194 manufactured by the Japanese JRC . The power supply uses a proprietary solution with double filtering of the incoming current. The body of the amplifier is made of aluminum alloy, on the front panel there is a liquid crystal display, which displays not only the volume level, but also the equalizer settings.
The analog signal to the amplifier can be fed to balanced XLR inputs, as well as to unbalanced RCA. The RCA line output is designed to connect an external active subwoofer. The model has a built-in Bluetooth adapter, as well as a USB input. The overall dimensions of the amplifier are 210 x 196 x 41 mm , weight – 1.6 kg .
