Italian company Synthesis has released a new version of its Roma 510AC Signature integrated amplifier .
The main difference from the regular version is the presence of three balanced inputs on XLR connectors, as well as a built-in universal phono preamplifier that works with both MM heads and moving coil cartridges (for which a switchable resistance load is provided in the range from 100 to 1000 Ohms). The model also has three pairs of unbalanced RCA inputs and a preamplifier output.
The power of the push-pull amplifier is 80 watts per channel; two pairs of KT88 tubes are installed at the output . 12BH7 are used as a driver in each channel , and dual triodes ECC83/12AX7 are used as the input lamp . The bias current of the output tubes is manually adjusted. The weight of the amplifier is 20 kg .
The integrated tube amplifier Synthesis Roma 510AC Signature will go on sale in the European market at a retail price of 5,000 euros.
