Chinese brand stores advise potential buyers of Apple’s new generation smartphones not to use third-party USB Type-C cables with the iPhone 15 due to differences in the pin layout of the interfaces, which can lead to increased temperatures. The official information states that overheating occurs due to less clearance between the 9-pin single-row and 11-pin single-row power connectors. It is worth noting that now the information is presented only in China, while in other regions official stores do not advertise anything like this.
