Oukitel has released a new “indestructible” smartphone WP33 Pro. It boasts a huge 22,000mAh battery, which is said to be the largest ever put into a phone. The device has quite large dimensions and weighs 577.5 g, and its thickness is 27.2 mm.
Additionally, the Oukitel WP33 Pro is quite wide (84mm), so it will likely be impossible to hold with one hand. The main highlight of the smartphone was the huge speaker on the rear panel with an insane power of 5 W, a diameter of 36 mm and a maximum volume of 136 dB. It provides 8D Immersive Stereo Surround sound.
The new product runs on the Dimensity 6100+ chipset from MediaTek paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The screen is a 6.6-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a brightness of 450 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The rear camera of the smartphone consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 1/1.73″ sensor with f/1.89 aperture and LED flash. There is also a 20MP night vision camera with a Sony IMX350 1/1.78″ sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an infrared illuminator.
All this is complemented by a 2MP macro camera made by BYD (the company is best known for electric cars, but seems to be expanding its scope of activities). A 32-megapixel camera (Sony IMX616) is responsible for taking selfies.
The WP33 Pro supports 33W wired charging (0 to 100% in 5 hours) and 18W reverse wired charging to power other devices.
The phone is IP68 dust and water resistant, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified, so it can withstand high pressure water jets and 1.5m drops. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs Android 13 .
Currently, Oukitel WP33 Pro is only available on AliExpress from the official Oukitel store, priced at $594.
