Today, July 28, Realme, as a gift for its fifth anniversary, introduced the flagship smartphone Realme GT5, which, in addition to one of the most productive mobile processors to date, received an incredibly large amount of RAM.
The basis of the phone was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm, operating at a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz (frequency is adjustable). It is complemented by up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. This is the top configuration, there are simpler ones: 12/256 GB and 16/512 GB. Declared support for Whirlwind Memory Engine 2.0 technology, which allows you to save applications in the device’s memory for longer.
The picture is displayed on a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels (1.5K), a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a maximum brightness of 1400 nits and a touch sampling rate of 2000 Hz.
The main camera module includes three sensors: the main resolution of 50 megapixels, wide-angle 8 megapixels and macro 2 megapixels. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. Additional features include support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. There are NFC and speakers with Dolby Atmos. Realme GT5 runs on realme UI 4.0 shell based on Android 13 operating system.
Customers will be able to purchase a version of the smartphone with a 4600 mAh battery and support for 240 W charging, as well as a version with a 5240 mAh battery that supports 150 W charging. A battery with a larger capacity will be available only in the top version.
The base version in 12/256 GB configuration will cost customers 2999 yuan (~410 US dollars). For the 16/512 GB version, you will have to pay 3299 yuan, or about $450. The top 24GB/1TB version costs 3,799 Yuan (~$520).
