Today, December 16, Realme officially introduced the newest member of the Realme 10 line of smartphones, the 10s model. Accordingly, now the manufacturer has just a huge lineup – Realme 10 4G, Realme 10 5G, Realme 10 Pro, Realme 10 Pro + and fresh Realme 10s. However, it should be noted right away that calling the gadget a new smartphone is not entirely correct, since in fact it is a version of the Realme 9i 5G smartphone, only with more RAM and internal memory, faster charging and fewer cameras on the back side. Although for the money the option is very interesting.
The manufacturer said that the Realme 10s smartphone comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, 33 W fast charging, plus there is a microSD memory card slot that allows you to expand the gadget’s memory up to 1 TB. The manufacturer also said that on the back of the device there is a main camera system with a 50-megapixel sensor, like the Realme 9i 5G, and a depth sensor to implement the bokeh effect in portrait shooting. Realme 9i 5G, it is worth recalling, in addition to the 50 MP camera, there is also a module for portrait and macro photography. However, the 10s has an advantage that the original gadget does not have – it’s about Hi-Res Audio support.
However, this is where the differences between smartphones end, since “under the hood” the devices are identical. Realme 10s is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, equipped with a 6.6-inch display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In addition, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 operating system with Realme 3.0 firmware installed on top of the system. Among the additional bonuses, it is worth highlighting a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging and a USB Type-C port, an 8 MP front camera, a fingerprint scanner in the device lock button and the ability to connect to the fifth generation cellular network (5G).
Another new device attracts attention with its body design – Realme 10s comes in blue and black colors with a rather stylish overflow due to the “sequins” on the back. In the light, the gadget looks really unusual, although not everyone will like this design. The device will go on sale on December 20, the cost of the basic version of 8/128 GB is approximately $155, and the top model with 8/256 GB memory is $185.
