Brightin Star AF 50mm F/1.4 autofocus lens announced for Sony

Brightin Star has announced a lens with an autofocus system – Brightin Star AF 50mm F/1.4. It is designed for APS-C cameras with bayonet mounts: Sony E, Nikon Z and Fujifilm X.

The new lens with an autofocus system has a built-in USB-C port, which is designed to update the Brightin Star AF 50mm F/1.4 firmware. Optically, the lens consists of 12 elements in 8 groups (including two low dispersion lenses and two high refractive lenses).

The lens has a wide focus ring and a narrow aperture ring.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.5 m. The filter size is 58 mm and dimensions: 71.9 × 78.8 mm. The lens has a metal body and a total weight of 449 grams. At the moment, the company has only released it with the Sony E-mount bayonet mount.

In the future, Brightin Star AF 50mm F/1.4 optics will be released for Nikon Z and Fujifilm X (APS-C) bayonet mounts.

The new Brightin Star 9mm F/5.6 lens weighs 400 grams and has fairly compact dimensions. Due to its compactness and lightness, the lens is suitable for travel photography. At the same time, the company calls the new lens the widest angle in the world for full-frame cameras.
