Resource TheNewCamera shared the characteristics of the future camera Nikon Z f. From a recent set of core specs, it has been confirmed that the Z f will be Nikon’s first camera to feature a pixel-shift high-resolution mode, something not seen in any of the company’s previous cameras. Other features include the ability to add a microSD card slot and a regular SD card slot.

- The presentation is expected in August-September, shipments – until the end of 2023.
- Improved autofocus compared to Z 5/Z 6II
- The price for the body alone will be $1999, there will be several kits with different optics in the price range from $2000 to $2500.
- One of the kits will be with a Nikkor Z 40mm f/2 (SE) lens (the new lens will not be presented with the Z f)
- Design and controls are similar to Nikon Z fc, but with improvements
- Small LCD screen on top for displaying aperture values.
- A new third function on the auxiliary dial (besides photo/video) for black and white mode, will be: b/w, photo, video.
