At the Huawei event in Munich, dedicated to the international launch of the company’s products, among other things, the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro smartwatches were presented. The base version has a stainless steel case and measures 46mm, while the Pro version has a 48mm case and is made of TC4 titanium alloy, which is said to be three times stronger than conventional titanium. In addition, it is known that the advanced version of the watch has a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with sapphire crystal. Both devices support the Always on Display feature, are water resistant up to 5 ATM and have many new watch faces.
Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro can detect more than 100 types of workouts and also offer health tracking features. One of the new features in this series is a comprehensive seven-point health analysis that integrates the following data: heart rate, blood oxygen levels, ECG, body temperature, arterial stiffness, stress level, and respiratory health.
The Watch 4 Pro model received additional benefits in the form of support for LTE connectivity via eSIM, as well as a built-in GPS module. The battery life of the basic version of the watch is 3 days of normal use, while the Pro version can work without recharging up to 4.5 days. The power saving mode is able to extend the autonomy up to 14 and 21 days, respectively.
The cost of Huawei Watch 4 with a black fluoroelastomer strap (like the Apple Watch) starts at 450 euros. Watch 4 Pro with a titanium strap costs from 700 euros, and the version with a brown leather strap will cost 550 euros . Both new items will go on sale in Europe in the coming weeks.
