Vivo introduced Watch 3: the brand’s first smartwatch with Blue OS

Today, November 13, at a special conference, Vivo introduced a new smart watch – Watch 3. They joined the range of new products, which included the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones . The watch became the successor to the Watch 2 model, presented two years earlier.

Vivo Watch 3 comes in a slim form factor. On the right side there is a stainless steel crown and a button for navigating the interface. The watch has a 1.43-inch screen covered with curved 3D glass. It is capable of displaying images in a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and supports the AOD (Always on Display) function. Declared water resistance to a depth of 5 meters.

If we talk about functions, the new product has heart rate and blood oxygen level sensors. The device can track sleep quality and stress levels, and will also help monitor the menstrual cycle in women. Connoisseurs of an active lifestyle will be pleased with 100 sports modes.

The watch runs on the Blue OS operating system, created in the Rust programming language. The amount of RAM is 64 MB, built-in memory is 4 GB. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 505 mAh is responsible for autonomous operation, which, as the developers assure, will be enough for 16 days of operation.

Vivo Watch 3 will hit the market in two variants: Bluetooth and eSim. The first starts at 1199 Yuan (~$150), the second starts at 1299 Yuan (~$178).
