As part of the European presentation, in addition to the Xiaomi 13T series smartphones, the company also presented the Watch 2 Pro smartwatch and the global version of the Smart Band 8 fitness bracelet.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro runs on the Wear OS operating system with the ability to install third-party applications. The watch comes in two versions – with Bluetooth module or with LTE. The latter allows you to receive and make calls, send text messages and stay in touch even without a smartphone. The device features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits. There is an Always On Display function and 20 preset watch faces. The hardware basis is the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 chip, paired with 2 GB of RAM. 32 GB of internal memory is allocated for storage. Users also get dual-band GNSS positioning, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. The watch has 5 ATM water resistance and weighs 54.5 grams without strap.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro offers 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen level tracking, as well as sleep and stress monitoring. The device can recognize and track physical activity; it has more than 150 sports modes. In addition, the watch is equipped with a bioelectrical impedance sensor to analyze body composition – the percentage of body fat and muscle mass.
A 495 mAh battery allows the watch to work without recharging for up to 65 hours (Bluetooth) and up to 55 hours (LTE). Charging is carried out using a magnetic two-pin charger. The price of Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro starts from 270 euros for the model with Bluetooth and from 330 euros for the version with LTE.
The company also announced a global version of the Mi Band 8 fitness bracelet called Smart Band 8 that will cost approx 40 euros.
