The Danish company Davone has released the Reference 1 floorstanding speakers , which have a three-way configuration.
The high-frequency range is entrusted to a tweeter with a diaphragm made of pure beryllium , the moving mass of which is only 0.1 grams. A powerful magnetic system makes it possible to obtain magnetic induction in the gap at the level of 2 Tesla .
The mid-range driver is equipped with a 4.5-inch continuous-profile Textreme carbon fiber cone from the Swedish company Oxeon , which allows for controlled behavior near resonant frequencies. Responsible for the bass is a 10-inch double-magnet driver with a long voice coil travel, the cone is made of processed cellulose.
The speaker cabinet has a shape devoid of parallel surfaces, and is equipped with a system of internal ties and baffles that optimizes the movement of air flow. As an acoustic design, a phase inverter was chosen, the port of which is displayed on the top panel. System sensitivity is 87 dB , impedance is 4 ohms with a minimum of 3.6 ohms at 26 Hz.
Overall dimensions of one speaker – 970 x 470 x 370 mm , weight – 42 kg . Davone Reference 1 speakers are available in two finishes.
