Redmi introduced its first desktop speaker for a computer to the Chinese market, which received the self-explanatory name Desktop Speaker .
The speaker system is made in the form of a soundbar and is equipped with RGB LED backlighting, flickering in time with the music or game soundtrack. A total of five different backlight modes are available. At the moment, it is known that the speaker has four dynamic drivers; for a wired connection, a combined USB-A/USB-C port is used, as well as a 3.5 mm jack. Wireless connection is provided by Bluetooth adapter version 5.0; the speaker also has built-in microphones for communicating in instant messengers and video conferencing.
The Redmi Desktop Speaker computer speaker system is available for pre-order in China at a price of 199 yuan or approximately $20.
