Sanwa Supply, a Japanese firm recognized for its stylish computer models, has unveiled the 400-SP 114 computer speakers, featuring amplifiers that deliver a total power output of 60 W. This latest offering is encased in a wooden housing, adorned with a film that mimics the appearance of natural wood veneer in a rich dark brown tone.
The Sanwa Supply 400-SP 114 acoustic systems feature a single 3-inch midrange/low-frequency speaker powered by a 20-watt amplifier, along with a 1-inch tweeter driven by a 10-watt amplifier. These speakers utilize a phase-inverted design, with a port situated on the rear panel of the enclosure. This latest model includes a surround sound capability, enabling users to experience music, movies, and game audio in a three-dimensional format. Additionally, it offers a BASS mode that significantly boosts the bass response.
The front panel features buttons that facilitate straightforward management of the acoustics operating modes. Alongside the volume control, there is a TONE knob for adjusting the output levels of both low and high frequencies, as well as a control knob for 3D surround sound. The Sanwa Supply 400-SP114 switching system is equipped with two analog inputs via 3.5 mm mini-jack connectors (LINE IN/AUX IN) and a single 3.5 mm headphone output. The power supply is integrated within the unit’s casing. The manufacturer claims an operational frequency range from 40 Hz to 20 kHz. The dimensions of the speaker are approximately 207 x 100 x 126 mm, and it weighs 2.2 kg.
