The Borea line of the French manufacturer has two new shelf models, both active and wireless – BR02 BT and BR03 BT. They are equipped with a Bluetooth v5.0 interface with aptX codec, a built-in phono stage, an optical input for connecting to a TV and a subwoofer output.
Together with the company Pro-Ject, the French have developed a turntable that looks in harmony with the new monitors. It is expected to go on sale in September in four finishes.
Monitors differ in drivers and amplifiers. The BR03 BT has a 6.5” paper cone bass driver with a 2 x 60W amplifier. The BR02 BT has 5” and 2 x 50W respectively. The tweeter is branded fabric EFS. HDF cabinets are built using the innovative DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System) technology to absorb vibrations from the bass driver.
Each model is available in 5 designs. European prices: BR02 BT – €499, BR03 BT – €599.
