Hisense Europe has unveiled its plans for 2021. And they are quite serious among the Chinese, as they are supported by high-tech MiniLED and OLED TVs.
MiniLED
The U9GQ with the ULED marketing attachment is Hisense’s first MiniLED. Its backlighting consists of 10,000 tiny LEDs for dazzling brightness of up to 2,000 nits. And the largest screen, 190cm, delivers a stunning 3,000 nits and features 1280 local dimming zones. The U9GQ TV delivers high-quality, high-contrast pictures with deep blacks thanks to MiniLED technology, the manufacturer says.
The model also offers wide support for HDR formats (HDR10, HDR10 +, Dolby Vision and HLG) and is equipped with a Dolby Atmos audio system with a 3.1.2 channel configuration. EARC, VRR (48-60 Hz) and ALLM functions based on HDMI 2.0.
Not giving up OLED
Contrary to last year’s news of the abandonment of OLED technology, Hisense is releasing a new model Hisense A9G . The perseverance of the Chinese is commendable, but it is strange that this name coincides with the analogue of the Sony OLED A9G.
The TV will be offered in two diagonals – 140 and 165 cm. Its features are also wide support for HDR and the Dolby Atmos 2.1.2 audio system. The Hisense A9G is noted to have a peak brightness of 800 nits, which is good for an OLED screen.
