Panasonic TX-65MZ800E is a high-end entry model. It has many aspects that are more than desirable and even unbeatable, modern, updated and in demand. Without a doubt, it is a television about which you will have few complaints.
Design and connectivity
For the Panasonic TX-65MZ800E, a deep black color was chosen, very correctly, a sign of the elegance that the model exudes in terms of design. It is still evident when you see how, despite the fact that its lower frame is not the narrowest in the world, together with the lack of the three following frames it creates a beautiful composition. Likewise, the versatility of this television is total.
Something that I find very curious about him is his profile . Obviously it’s up to taste. And although no television has a completely straight side, it has two completely different areas that are not joined by any type of ergonomic line. The lower area of the case is somewhat wide to house the connections and speakers. If we look up we see that, suddenly, the profile becomes exclusively the panel, which is only a very few millimeters (something, on the other hand, spectacular to hang). Whether it is positive or not is up to everyone’s taste, since I am perfectly capable of understanding that a profile of this type is liked as much as another with smooth lines. In any case, I think it is the least important thing to me if I have to buy a TV.
The TV measures 874 x 1449 x 281 mm and its weight is 34.5 kg as long as we consider its pedestal, of course. This is a shiny deep black rectangle located in the central area. But, as you have seen in the first image, we can keep only the screen, which is 839 x 1449 x 49 mm and 28.5 kg and is placed with a VESA of 400 x 200 mm . As you will see, the difference in weight is considerable, which lets us know that the model will be highly stable.
Tuning and connectivity
We have a total tuning given by a digital DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, DVB-S2, HEVC, analog NTSC/PAL/SECAM, CI+ 1.4 ECP and HbbTV 2.0.3.
In the image we see which connectors you can enjoy and how they are housed. Just in case, we find a CI slot, triple HDMI, two USB with recorder, two antenna plugs (RF and F), optical digital audio output and RJ 45 headphone jack .
Wireless is handled with both Bluetooth and WiFI ac .
Image quality
Panasonic TX-65MZ800 uses an OLED panel from LG Display with 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. This has a 30-bit matrix and a 10-bit color depth without distortion, something logical considering an OLED that works, in conjunction with the 4K Color Engine Pro processor , with color in an exceptional way.
The excellent support for HDR, which includes HLG, Dolby Vision and HDR 10+, allows us to enjoy images of the best quality with sharp contrasts and purity in colors and brightness. The filmmaker mode , also activated, is more of the same, the exact sample of the audiovisual as it comes out of post-production.
With the native plus the Smooth Motion Drive PRO technology we get up to 120 Hz, ideal for, together with ALLM and VRR, enjoying the best video games playing them on the television.
Audio
Panasonic 65MZ800E comes with a 2.1 like sound system. This has two 12W speakers and one more 12W subwoofer. The total is therefore 36 W RMS for power.
The processing of the model reaches Dolby Atmos , so you will be able to enjoy content with surround sound that makes us feel immersed, very consistent with the filmmaker mode that we have already talked about.
As extras, we have 13 sound modes and track playback via Bluetooth .
Analysis of the software/smartTV and general functions
The TV has an Android TV 11 operating system in the background and a Google TV as the front (the layer that users see).
Google makes some of its services available to us in this model, such as:
- Google Play Store . Although when you turn on the TV you will see several apps, you can access the Google store, where you will find thousands of them to download and create a television experience tailored to your needs.
- Google Assistant . The voice assistant that listens to you and follows your orders and answers your questions by searching for information on the Internet.
- Chromecast . It is the firm’s mirroring system. This is the most used or, at the very least, the most famous and, without a doubt, intuitive. With this, you can cast what you see on your tablet or phone to view on the Panasonic TX-65MZ800E.
In addition to this, on TV you could download a browser to move through all the web spaces, you can record the television schedule on an external storage unit, you have a programming guide, free channels, teletext, many languages to configure the main menus.
