Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the Redmi Gaming TV X Pro gaming TV. The TV will be released in two versions with different screen sizes – 65 and 75 inches. The manufacturer estimated the first one at $415, and the second at $595.
The Redmi Gaming TV X Pro TV is equipped with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 processor, received 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. The TV equipment includes an HDMI 2.1 port, two HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 each, one RJ-45 connector and a Wi-Fi adapter.
As befits a TV aimed at video game enthusiasts, the Redmi Gaming TV X Pro is equipped with a panel that supports 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The new screen provides 94 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Color accuracy Delta E – about 2 units. The display implements MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology, designed to compensate for blurring when showing dynamic scenes and improve image smoothness. Support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is also announced.
The manufacturer notes that Redmi Gaming TV X Pro supports AMD FreeSync Premium, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and ALLM technologies. Due to the latter, the TV will detect the launch of a video game and automatically turn on the low display latency mode.
It is also indicated that Redmi Gaming TV X Pro supports cloud gaming. The TV provides access to 40 popular games. However, this option seems to be only available for the Chinese market, as Redmi provides support for it in cooperation with the local cloud gaming platform Migu Kuaiyou.
